Question 1

Who is the validation report for?

Accepted Answer

The validation report is for independent founders evaluating a product idea and its target customer before committing more time or money. It organizes the questions, signals, alternatives, objections, risks, and next tests that can help you make a better-informed decision; it does not decide for you or replace talking with potential customers.

Question 2

What does the validation report cover?

Accepted Answer

When report generation is available, it is designed to organize cited public evidence around demand signals, alternatives, pricing context, customer language, objections, risks, and open questions. The citations show which public sources support the observations so you can inspect the evidence yourself.

Question 3

What are the limits of the evidence?

Accepted Answer

Public evidence can be incomplete, noisy, outdated, biased, or unrepresentative of the people you want to serve. A cited source is context, not proof of demand. You still need to test the riskiest assumptions with real target customers, including willingness to use or pay, the strength of the problem, and whether your proposed solution is meaningfully better.

Question 4

How much does report access cost?

Accepted Answer

Report access costs exactly $29 paid once. It is not a subscription, and no additional report-access charge is added here.

Question 5

When is report access unlocked?

Accepted Answer

Report access unlocks only after payment is confirmed for the specific request. A pending, failed, unmatched, or otherwise unverified payment does not grant access. Returning from checkout or attempting payment is not the same as confirmed payment.

Question 6

Is report generation available now?

Accepted Answer

Report generation is conditional on the required AI and public-data access being configured. The current app reports that AI access and public-data access are unavailable, so SignalThimble does not promise report generation or a completed report right now.

Question 7

Is checkout available?

Accepted Answer

Checkout is conditional on the required Stripe configuration and onboarding being available. If that setup is missing or incomplete, no checkout path is offered. Do not treat a payment attempt, a pending state, or a checkout return as proof that payment was confirmed or that a report is available.

Question 8

What happens after payment is confirmed?

Accepted Answer

The confirmed payment is checked against the request before access is granted. Payment confirmation records the access decision for that request, but it does not by itself create report content. While the required generation capabilities are unavailable, no report results are available and no completed report is promised.
